I’ve had the pleasure of shooting many, many weddings at the Crystal Tea Room over the years. It’s truly one of my favorite places to shoot. There are so many photographic opportunities that surround the venue, located in the historic John Wanamaker Building adjacent to Philadelphia’s City Hall.
This image, taken in the Ballroom at the Crystal Tea Room, was shot during Melissa and Kyle’s first dance. It was taken with my Nikon D5 camera, a Nikkor 24-120mm F4.0 lens, and the settings were 1/60th F4.5 @ ISO 1600. I fired an SB900 flash that my assistant was holding off-camera.
