I've been shooting Weddings at Glen Foerd Mansion on the Delaware since early in my wedding photography career. It's always been one of my favorite venues. Besides the waterfront, the mansion itself provides me with an interior that allows light to pour in several of the rooms. The texture of the interior of this mansion is simply gorgeous. You can feel the history, and the backdrop for wedding photographs is practically unparalleled in our region.
I feel so strongly about my ability to create beautiful wedding photography at Glen Foerd that I recently utilized it for an ad campaign for the new Nikon Z 9 mirrorless camera. Glen Foerd weddings provide me with a potpourri of photographic opportunity, and it was the perfect setting for me to bring my crew there for this campaign.
This image, captured with my pre production Nikon Z 9 and the Z Nikkor 70-200 f/2.8S lens, was taken along the waterfront just before the sun set. The Delaware river provides a stunning ambience for every wedding at Glen Foerd, and the sky really cooperated with me on this gorgeous day.
