World-renowned architect Frank Furness designed the 19th-century Victorian residence now known as Knowlton Mansion. Weddings at the mansion are quite easy to photograph because there are so many lovely places to shoot. Sprawling, beautifully landscaped grounds, lovely interior design, and a cool, modern ballroom, as well as an amazing bridal suite. Knowlton Mansion events to have the best of old and new worlds, right in Philadelphia.
Knowlton Mansion can service events with up to 250 guests. Conroy Catering provides the food, and I can personally say that they do a fabulous job. Other amenities include onsite parking and a fantastic area for outdoor ceremonies and cocktail hour.
My favorite spot at Knowlton Mansion is the bridal suite area. I truly love the light in this room and how it falls on the subjects' faces. This image was taken in that room, with both newlyweds, shortly after their ceremony outside.
