Stephanie and Brad celebrated their wedding at the Liberty House Restaurant, just across the Hudson, in Jersey City, NJ. Here, Stephanie saw her dad for the first time after she was ready, and the emotions flowed throughout the room.
Weddings at the Liberty House Restaurant provide me, as a photographer, with magnificent photo opportunities. Liberty State Park is just a few yards away. There’s a fantastic, old world train station next to it that allows you in the area to create photos. The skyline of Manhattan looks like a stone’s throw across the Hudson River, and it makes for a phenomenal backdrop.
There are two different areas for the receptions for Liberty House Restaurant weddings. The room upstairs provides a view of Manhattan that is breathtaking, as it has huge windows with unobstructed views across the Hudson River. It also has a separate area in another part of the building for the cocktail hour which is convenient for setting the room before the dinner hour. I truly love photographing weddings at this venue.
